On Friday, July 25th, I will be debuting my new group with vocalist Scott Young (of Red Meat fame) at Speisekammer, an outstanding German restaurant located at 2424 Lincoln Ave. in Alameda (www.speisekammer.com). The food and beer is definitely worth the visit alone, but the group provides an added incentive to make the trip-- our lineup includes me on tenor saxophone, Scott Foster on guitar, Lee Bloom on piano, Scott Chapek on bass, and Alameda resident Dan Foltz on drums.
